Lucy Yao

Hello! I am a student journalist based in Chicago, Illinois, and from the San Francisco Bay Area. Driven by a love of gathering stories, I have found myself drawn less to types of journalism, but rather overall writing communities. From broadcast to print news to entertainment reviews, my goal is always depth and reach. I am also currently studying Environmental Policy & Culture and Cognitive Science alongside Journalism at Northwestern University to further my understanding of the modern world.
